Greetings to Panagia II Stasis (interpretation) | Εκκλησιαστικά Καραμανλής †

Today in the Churches the Salutations to Panagia B’ Stasis, read the interpretation of the Salutations that will be heard today in all the Churches.

Tῌ FRIDAY
OF THE SECOND WEEK OF FASTING

The Small Apodeipnon (p. 6) is reinterpreted. After “Axion estin” is sung by the Choirs, the Canon of the Theotokos (p. 28) and the Kontakion; “To the great warrior” slowly (p. 54), after which the Second Stasi of the “Greetings” is recited melodiously by the Priest.

STAY ON MONDAY

The Shepherds heard the Angels praising the incarnate presence of Christ; and walking as if to a shepherd, considering him as an immaculate lamb, fed in the womb of Mary, whom you praise, they said;

Hail, lamb and shepherd Mother; Hail, flock of rational sheep.

Hail, defender of invisible enemies; Hail, opener of Paradise’s doors.

Rejoice, for the heavens join the earth; rejoice, for the earth joins the heavens.

Hail, of the Apostles the speechless mouth; Hail, of the Athletes the invincible courage.

Hail, pillar of Faith; Hail, bright sign of grace.

Rejoice, through whom God was stripped; Rejoice, through whom we were glorified.

Hail, Nymph bloom.

Theodromon Astera, considering them Magi, they followed him in splendor; and holding him like a lamp, they sought through him the mighty Anakta; and when they reached the unattainable, they rejoiced, shouting to him: Alleluia.

I saw the children of the Chaldaeans, in the hands of the Virgin, forming the hands of men; and understanding him as a Lord, if he took the form of a servant, they hastened to the healing gifts, and to help the Blessed One;

Hail, star of the invisible Mother; Hail, dawn of the secret day.

Hail, I extinguished the furnace of deception; Hail, illuminating the mysteries of the Trinity.

Hail, tyrannical inhumane that brought forth the principle; Hail, Lord philanthropist I showed Christ.

Rejoice, the barbarian redeemed religion; Rejoice, the barbarian redeemer of works.

Hail, fire of worship I have ceased; Hail, flame of passions indulgent.

Hail, faithful guide of wisdom; Hail, joy of all generations.

Hail, Nymph bloom.

God-bearing preachers, events the Magi, returned to Babylon; your oracle executors, and preachers of Christ are dead, sending Herod like a claymore, let them not sing; Alleluia.

You shone in Egypt, the light of truth, you chased away the darkness of the lie, for the idols of this Savior, not possessing your power, fell;

Hail, raiser of men; Hail, overthrower of demons.

Rejoice, I have trampled the fallacy of fraud; Rejoice, I have checked the deceit of idols.

Hail, sea I watered Pharaoh the wise; Hail, stone I watered those thirsting for life.

Hail, pillar of fire, leading those in darkness; Hail, world-wide, broad cloud.

Hail, sustenance of manna successor; Hail, minister of holy sacrifice.

Hail, the promised land; Hail, flowing with honey and milk.

Hail, Nymph bloom.

Simeon of the future, of the present age, became a deceiver, you were delivered up to him as a baby, but you were also known as a perfect God; therefore, he was amazed at your unspeakable wisdom, he cried out. Alleluia.

Eἶita, the; Tῇ ἇπερμαχῳ… (briefly). Trisaion and Kontakion;

From the beginning of nature, to the gardener of creation, the world offers you, Lord, the god-bearing Martyrs. Their prayers, in deep peace your Church, for the sake of the Theotokos, maintain, Polyele.

Lord, have mercy on me. The Lord at all times… and Aspil, undefiled… And see us Despot… (without the Gospel). Dismissal. We bless… The beauty… Through blessings… (pp. 62-80).

INTERPRETATION

THE MANUFACTURE
OF THE 2ND WEEK OF FASTING

The Little Supper is read. After the Act, the Canon of the Virgin is sung, and then the Kontakion “To the warrior…” in a slow part. This is followed by the recitation of the Second Station of the Greetings by the Priest.

STAND TWO

The shepherds heard the Angels praising the incarnate presence of Christ (on earth) and hurrying to see Him as a shepherd, they saw Him as a young sheep that grazed in the womb of Mary, and with hymns they said to her;

Hail mother of sheep and shepherd, Hail shepherd of reasonable sheep (of the faithful).

Hail the defender against invisible enemies; Hail you who open the (closed) doors of Paradise to us.

Rejoice, you who become an occasion for the heavens to rejoice with the earth; rejoice, for the earths rejoice with the heavens.

Hail, you who are the silent mouth of the Apostles; Hail, you who are the indomitable courage of the sporting martyrs.

Hail, strong support of faith; Hail, bright attribute of Grace (of God).

Rejoice, you through whom Hades was stripped, rejoice, you through whom we were clothed with glory.

Hail Nymph, bloom.

The Magi, having seen the star that led to God, followed its bright radiance; and as if holding it for a lamp, they searched for the mighty King; and when they reached Him whom no one can reach, they rejoiced and cried aloud to ᾿ Him; Hallelujah.

They saw the children of the Chaldaeans (the magicians) in the hands of the Virgin He who with His hands fashioned men. And understand
